Common Bird Orchid Chiloglottis valida

As the name suggests, these terrestrial orchids are quite widespread. These photos are from Chandler Hill, in the Dandenong Ranges National Park, as well as Baluk Willam Flora Reserve. They are probably more widespread than most people realize, their green leaves and brown flowers are well hidden amongst the leaf litter and grass.
